In today’s hyper-partisan environment, every library worker needs to be well-prepared to handle challenges not only to library materials, but to programs, displays, and policies such as Meeting Room Use. Join representatives of the OLA Intellectual Freedom Committee to learn about recent trends, core ALA policy statements, new interpretations of the Library Bill of Rights, hate speech, visits from 1st Amendment Auditors and law enforcement, best practices, and resources available for staff and administrators.This two hour session will not be recorded.
