ACRL-Oregon seeks to support academic libraries and librarians; to foster communication among academic librarians; to promote the development of Oregon academic libraries; to sponsor educational programs of interest to academic librarians; and to serve as liaison between academic librarians and other academic and library constituencies.
ACRL-Oregon serves a dual role as the Oregon chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) as well as the Academic Library Division of the Oregon Library Association (OLA).
ACRL-OR/WA Joint Fall Conferences: Each October, the Oregon and Washington ACRL chapters meet jointly for a two-day conference and membership meeting, either in Oregon at the Menucha Retreat and Conference Center on the Columbia Gorge (even-numbered years) or at the Pack Forest Conference Center, on the grounds of the University of Washington’s experimental forest on Mt. Rainier (odd-numbered years).
ACRL-Oregon Website: Please note that the primary online presence for ACRL-Oregon is at http://acrloregon.org/.
