The purpose of the Children's Services Division is to promote and advance library service to children and youth through public and professional education and cooperation.

Membership shall be open to any interested members of the Oregon Library Association.

Who: All Oregon library staff serving youth and/or anyone who LOVES talking about children's literature!
What: Mock Coretta Scott King Book Awards Workshop
When: Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00 pm

Where: Multnomah County Central Library – US Bank Room, 801 SW 10th Avenue Portland, OR


Registration is $5 for CSD members* and $10 for non-members, and all attendees who register before January 20th will have the chance to win a selection of past Coretta Scott King books.  Scholarships to cover registration costs or travel costs like hotel for CSD members traveling over 100 miles away for the event might be available. Please read as many of the books for discussion as you can prior to the workshop. Illustrated books will be available to view at the workshop.
