The SSD Gateways Scholarships

The purpose of the SSD Gateways scholarship is to provide the means for Oregon library support staff working in libraries with limited funding to attend the Support Staff Division conference and engage in professional development and networking with their peers.

  Awarding one scholarship for the registration fees to attend the 2025 OLA Conference:

Email your request to [email protected] at least 4 weeks prior to the event registration that you would like to attend and/or participate in.

When applying for this scholarship please keep the following points in mind.

• Let us know your current position and employer (or if you are a student).

• A narrative statement describing your goals for professional growth, career developments and how the program you plan to attend supports those goals.
• We secretly hope you will choose SSD for your year long commitment - you don't have to pinky swear, but let us know how you might contribute to SSD after your incredible LIOLA experience
